One day in Pisa
Here some tips for your one day holiday in Pisa
- Have a nice lunch with view on the Lungarno
- Book your tickets for the leaning tower and try to visit it at sunset time
- Visit the Piazza dei Miracoli monumental area with the Battistero, Duomo, Museo delle Sinopie, Camposanto with the famous mural “Trionfo della Morte” by Buonamico Buffalmacco
- Have a break with street food and try the famous “Pizza Cecina” typical from Pisa or try a typical Tuscany Sandwich
- Get lost in the little streets of the city center: visit Piazza dei Cavalieri, S. Maria della Spina, Borgo stretto, Lungarno and Giardino Scotto
- Relax in Piazza Santa Caterina having an artisanal ice cream sitting on a bench under the trees, looking at the beautiful square and its church
- Have a good wine tasting in a lovely bistrot close to the B&B suggested by LaLu
- Sit on the “spallette” ( wall of Lungarno) with a drink and enjoy the sunset time or have a good aperitif in the little pedestrian square Chiara Gambacorti looking at local life (nice address if you travel with childrens)
- Have a tuscan dinner in a typical restaurant based of beef steack and good wine
