Three days in Pisa
Here some tips for your three days holiday in Pisa
- Visit the University Natural history Museum at Certosa Monumentale di Calci, it is located in a little village at about 15 minutes by car from Pisa city center
- Rent a car and discover the Pisa countryside. Visit its littles villages, drive in its beautuful landscapes and do a fabulous wine & olive oil tasting in its locals cellars
- Rent a scooter or take the train and go to visit Lucca (at about 30 minutes by train) or Viareggio
- Take a train and do a one day trip to Cinque Terre: 5 charming littles villages overlooking the sea in Liguria Region at about 1h30 from Pisa. The villages are connected by small trains, at 5 minutes from one to each other
- Take a train and go to the Versilia Coast: visit the fashionable Forte dei Marmi for a fabulous shopping day; go to Massa Carrara, where also Michelangelo took its marbles; go to Pietrasanta, a lovely medieval town known for its marbles and bronze workshop, its artists and monuments
- In summer time rent a car or take a train to visit Livorno and its panoramical coast with the small villages of Castiglioncello and Quercianella where you can have a swim in the blue sea
